I have finally completed my first sweater crocheted from a pattern! I have attempted patterns before, but tend to get bored, confused or both and give up after a short time. This pattern was advance enough to be challenging, but easy to understand, and fun as hell to put together. It makes use of the Clover Fan Pattern, which is not only beautiful but also interesting to hook. I used a really expensive
variegated yarn (This sweater is worth $56.00 in yarn alone!), and someone I showed it to described it as "
beachy." I like the sand and sea feel to it, and it is soft and heavy to wear.
The pattern is from a book called
Loop-D-Loop (which is
filled with incredible patterns). The yarn is by
Moda Dea, and it is called Tweedle Dee; the color is Surf and Turf, Lot # 50.

Love the sweater (and your cute haircut!) The baby dress is darling. I'd charge $50.00 for that.
This is going to be a great blog. Makes me want to get out my crochet hooks.
I've given everything away that I ever made also. That's what "hookers" do.
And we are a couple of "hookers!"
Good post.
