Birdy Bag

I kinda stole this idea, but I changed the design. I crocheted a simple single stitch bag, white on the front, green on the back and then used embroidery thread to sew a little yellow felt bird and two funny trees onto the white side of the bag. I really like this bag, and it only took me 4 episodes of Veronica Mars to complete!

Octopus - Red

Here he is. The newest addtion. I created the pattern, he only has five legs, but I think that is cute. Eight would have been crowded. I like the way he looks with the snake and the duck too. I used cotton yarn in bright colors. And white felt for the face.

More Amigurumi

Here are two more little Amigurumi characters. The little duck is kind of dorky and confused. The beak needs work, but Dan absolutely loves his little haircut.
The snake is filled with pinto beans and was created to be a draft reducer. I put him in any windowsill and he keeps the wind out of the house. He is also fun to play with.

Bronwen Sweater and Hat Set

My first attempt this autumn when I jumped back into my crocheting frenzy was a sweater and matching hat set for Bronwen. I found this gorgeous yarn and without a pattern in mind, just went at it. Sometimes this process works out, sometimes the results are disastrous. This time it turned out okay. The sweater was a little big, the neck line was definitely too wide. The hat was perfect! Now, if only the little booger will keep it on!
